I found this by browsing through the book of sonnets as well and it literally made me lol when I read it through. There is something so endearing, so sweet about Adam in his shyness and cluelessness. After so much of Milton's usually insufferable Adam, it was a nice change:

But I think Robert Frost will always be one of my favorite poets. I'd never read this poem of his before (found it on greatpoets ) but loved it after the first stanza.

I absolutely love Frost, so am sad that I've decided not to take the 20th cent. American poetry class, but after sitting in on it, I don't think I like how the course is set-up. Alas. A good friend of mine reminded me of this poem, and reading it over, it's the perfect thing for self-pity, exhaustion, or grief--at least for me.
